If I Were to Judge My Fellow Man
M. Fennell
If I were to judge my fellow man, I would:
Criticize a man
Not for his uncertainty of the truth
but for his unwillingness to pursue it
Not for having fear
but for lacking courage
Not for dreaming
but for giving up on the dream
Not for failing to achieve
but for failing to try
Blame a man
Not for his circumstances
but for his apathy
Not for his limitations
but for his cynicism
Not for running into obstacles
but for having obstacles run over him
Value a man
Not for the size of his muscles
but for the size of his heart
Not for the strength of his grip
but for the strength of his spirit
Not for how many he has conquered
but for how many he has loved
