The Math Assignment

My professor has given us an assignment
By tomorrow we must solve
We heartily despise it
But we’re backed against a wall

I’ve procrastinated plenty
My home sparkles like a show room floor
I even made it through Geraldo
But The Assignment wont be ignored

I managed to read the chapter
But I didn’t understand a thing
The equations blurred together
What does all this mean?

Well, it’s sometime around 2 AM
But the end is nowhere in sight
In fact I’ve only done number one
And that only partially right

In the morning we’ll have a study group
Maybe one of us has found the key
I surely hope, at the very least
They’ve made it to number three
